Write a three to four (3-4) page paper in which you:

  1. Explain the four (4) major categories of computer crimes, and provide at least one (1) example for each.
  2. Explain the most common forms of digital crime.
  3. Determine the category of computer crimes or cyber terrorism that presents the greatest overall threat at the present time. Provide a rationale to support your response.
  4. Summarize the roles and responses that the U.S. government, court systems, and law enforcement agencies in combatting computer crime. Next, suggest one (1) additional way—i.e., one not discussed in the textbook—that the law enforcement agencies can better counteract computer crime.
  5. Use at least three (3) quality references for this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

ABC Costing

High Mountain Coffee Co. is a processor and distributor of different blends of quality coffee. The company buys beans from around the world and roasts, blends and packages them for resale. There are presently 15 different flavors which are sold to gourmet shops in one pound bags. The major cost is raw materials; however, there is substantial amount of manufacturing overhead in the product. This relates to the high level of automation in the roasting and packing. The company uses very little direct labor.

Some of the flavors are very popular and sell in large volumes while a few newer blends have very low volumes. High Mountain prices its coffee at full product cost including allocated overhead plus a markup of 30%. High Mountain competes with comparable qualities but customers are cost conscience.

Data for the 2011 budget includes manufacturing overhead of $3,000,000; direct labor of $600,000, and raw materials of $6,000,000. Total plant production is estimated to be 3,000,000 pounds of coffee.

  • Your plan is to aggressively go after the consumer and business market creating dual revenue streams. Your marketing strategy, research marketing mix and customer relationship marketing will be different for both groups.

In this scenario, you will be responsible for conducting the following tasks:

  • Observing and analyzing market trends
  • Examining competitors’ products and services
  • Investigating ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability

Assignment

There are two parts to this Assignment so be sure to complete both parts.

Part 1: The Consumer and Business Market

Write a brief paragraph that answers the following questions. (This should not be in Question/Answer format).

  • Which company did you choose as your focus in this Marketing Management Assignment?

Part 2: Marketing Strategy Planning

In preparation for your first presentation to the CEO of the organization, you will create a 3–5 page paper.

You will examine how the 3 C’s (customer targets, competitors, customer value proposition) and 4 P’s (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) of marketing strategy influence marketing decisions about how you can increase purchases to consumers and increase purchases for business-to-business.

Your goal is to complete the consumer and business-to-business marketing strategy planning document. Using the bolded words as subheadings for each response as seen in the PDF of this Assignment, answer the following:

  1. SMART Goals: Using the SMART acronym, list several objectives you wish to accomplish.
