It is important to assess the relevance of change and why there may be resistance to change. As Aamodt (2016) discusses in the course text, change can be very beneficial to organizations, but employees may be reluctant to embrace change: “They may fear that change will result in less favorable working conditions and economic outcomes than they are used to” (p. 506).
